Ohh My God!!! Is this true? I am surprised if it is true. It is real face of Indian bureaucracy. They have so much time to waste in such practice and no time to invest in making popular policies for the people of country.

In India, Bureaucracy does mean officers from the Indian Administrative Services, better known as ‘I Am Safe’. The IAS officers enjoy the safety net sometimes better than politicians in developing world. They rule the country and this is an underrated and understated fact because in these countries political class is not as literate as IAS officers. Ravi...this example can really break millions of heart in India.

Average common Indians are the victims to Indian bureaucracy and corruption at one time or the other. We nightmarish experiences when apply for a passport, driving license, telephone, water and electricity connections. People start paying bribe to the babus sitting in offices and we can say that they delay the process to force the common people to pay bribe to them. Those people, who can’t afford to bribe them, must be patient to get their work done. They should have no sense of ego and self respect while standing in long queues.

The poorly structured and highly corrupted public sector in India is the biggest obstacle to the dream of inclusive growth in the country. The interference of local politicians in district welfare schemes and works makes the things worst. The situation is horrible in north Indian states like Bihar and Uttar Pradesh. In these states, the officers form a network with local politicians to earn black money from centrally-funded schemes. The well-known fodder scam in Bihar is the biggest example of the existence of such network.

Hey you all...stop criticising the bureaucracy in such wrong way..you cannot claim all bureaucrats are corrupt. If it is all bad as you say, how come Indian economic growth has sprinted over the past twenty years? We should give some credit to the bureaucracy for the growth in India.

Majority of Indian youths is ashamed of the office babus, IAS officers. This is fact, they call these officers as the most corrupt community India has in it. One of my father’s friend tried to beat his son when he refused to prepare for civil service examination by saying that he was ashamed of his father because he was an IAS officer. He declared - only corrupt, inefficient, and negative people join the IAS. Isn’t it a devastating verdict on India’s premier service.
